Successful Bridge Established Between German SMEs and Chinese Business Development

Wiebelbach Wertheim, Germany, July 31, 2024 — In a significant step towards strengthening international business ties, the Secretary of the CPC Jinwan District Committee of Zhuhai, China, along with honored delegates, visited the German headquarters of Kurtz Ersa. They were warmly welcomed by the CEO and members of the global management board of the Kurtz Ersa Group.

The Kurtz Ersa Group, marking 20 years of operations in Zhuhai, hosted a fruitful visit that resulted in the signing of a letter of intent to further expand their Zhuhai location. The delegation expressed keen interest in Kurtz Ersa’s “Global Footprint” plans and discussed potential funding opportunities. Additionally, they offered to leverage their connections with large companies in Zhuhai to promote Kurtz Ersa’s business.

During their visit, the delegation toured key facilities in Wiebelbach and Wertheim, including production sites at Ersa and the historic hammer forge, guided by Walter Kurtz, a member of the Kurtz Ersa owner family.

This visit underscored the high esteem in which German products and engineering are held in China. It also highlighted the mutual benefits and learning opportunities available to both parties. The next step in this growing relationship will be a visit to Kurtz Ersa’s factory in Zhuhai and a return visit by the management team when the opportunity arises.

The successful establishment of this cooperation has undoubtedly set a new model for mutually beneficial cooperation between SMEs in China and Germany, and has also contributed positively to the stability and development of the global industrial chain and supply chain.
