Kurtz Ersa Asia has a strong performance in a year marked by a global recession. The Group also continued its planned internationalization with the expansion in Asia (e.g. Tech-Day in the Philippines and Service Meeting in Vietnam), and we were interviewed by Vietnam local TV and Taiwan TV. The Group is looking forward to the opening of the new Kurtz Ersa India office in Bangalore in the fall, a new demo center in Thailand and the start of a new production facility in Mexico, which will be operational in the spring of 2024.
The Electronics Production Equipment division again contributed the lion’s share of sales – and had brilliant shows at Productronica China, Nepcon China, Nepcon Asia and Vietnam. This was driven by our elite Kurtz Ersa Asia team and numerous innovations that address the smart drivers of future technology trends – such as smart homes, smart factories, intelligent power distribution systems, green energy generation and urban mobility. The Moulding Machines Business Unit successfully participated in the first Foam Expo China and China DIECASTING after 3 years with its foam and casting machines.
Kurtz Ersa is optimistic about 2024 – the group continues to invest in the future, especially in R&D and service. “Now that the supply chain has recovered, we can look back on 244 years of tradition, which we are extending into the future with our unique Kurtz Ersa spirit,” says current CEO Thomas Mühleck. “The atmosphere in our team is excellent. We have a special working relationship that is characterized by openness and trust.
The continuous development of digitalization measures and the sustainability initiative “GoGreen250“, with which Kurtz Ersa wants to become more digital and CO2-neutral by its 250th anniversary, is also very pleasing. As a electronics production solution provider and mechanical engineering company, Kurtz Ersa even ranks among the top 11% in the environmental category. Kurtz Ersa Asia has launched its new official website in Chinese, providing more convenience for our sales and customers. Click on the banner below to check it out!
“Given the difficult circumstances, we are very proud of the results we have achieved – on behalf of the Kurtz Ersa management I would like to thank the entire workforce,” said Thomas Mühleck. “We are also particularly pleased to have received numerous awards for our numerous innovations from neutral parties – such as the iF Design Award for our i-CON TRACE IoT soldering station and the Foam Expo China Award for our Kurtz RF technology. We are well prepared for 2024 and see good opportunities to grow against the trend in electronics production and machine building thanks to our innovations, system solutions and clear focus on the needs of our global customers!
